It´s 2012, it´s 47 days to the first race and our race mechancis are busy getting all the helmets ready. Today one of them stopped by and we made the final adjustments on his helmet. We´re glad he´s back in a regular driver seat this year: Nico Hülkenberg who will race with Sahara Force India in the 2012 season.

We hadn´t much time to shot the helmet properly, but here are the first shots of his 2012 design:

This weekend Felipe Massa will drive his 100th Grand Prix for Ferrari and his celebrate his 10th year in Formula-1.
For us this is a chance to honor him and celebrate with him: with a sepcial helmet design.

Not only since his accident in Hungary in 2009, Felipe and Schuberth have a very special partnership and as he received his new helmet this morning he promised to reserve a very special place for this helmet in his collection.

Some of you might have already seen it – we´re rebuilding our Global Website ! Since last week we continously publsih new and redesigned areas of our Website http://www.schuberth.com. We gladly announce that we became an official partner of the FIA’s Action for Road Safety campaign
The FIA’s Action for Road Safety is a global campaign, which focuses the federation’s resources on helping its member clubs around the globe to educate and advocate for safer roads, vehicles and behaviours. We will use our knowledge and expertise to support the FIA campaign.

At the FIA Formula 1 Grand Prix in Spa our CEO Marcel Lejeune presented the Formula 1 helmet SF1 featuring the campaign’s logo to the FIA president Jean Todt. During the next future Schuberth will present special designed FIA helmets of the Premium flip-up helmet C3 which will be used at major motorsports events.
Further more we will donate a replica of the commerative gold plated helmet, specially designed to mark seven time Formula 1 World Champion and Schuberth long-term partner to FIAS to be auctioned to raise funds for the Action for Road Safety campaign.
