Schuberth now official partner of FIA “Action for Road Safety”

We gladly announce that we became an official partner of the FIA’s Action for Road Safety campaign
The FIA’s Action for Road Safety is a global campaign, which focuses the federation’s resources on helping its member clubs around the globe to educate and advocate for safer roads, vehicles and behaviours. We will use our knowledge and expertise to support the FIA campaign.

At the FIA Formula 1 Grand Prix in Spa our CEO Marcel Lejeune presented the Formula 1 helmet SF1 featuring the campaign’s logo to the FIA president Jean Todt. During the next future Schuberth will present special designed FIA helmets of the Premium flip-up helmet C3 which will be used at major motorsports events.
Further more we will donate a replica of the commerative gold plated helmet, specially designed to mark seven time Formula 1 World Champion and Schuberth long-term partner to FIAS to be auctioned to raise funds for the Action for Road Safety campaign.

Schuberth-Helme all around the world

We are very happy to see all the successful motorsports events of the last days.

First of all our warmest congratulations to our long-term partner Ralf Schumacher. After a podium rank in the DTM season’s opening race at Hockenheimring he finished the third race in Spielberg (Austria) on rank 2. Furthermore we are happy to be still on the top of the current championship with Mercedes driver Bruno Spengler.

A special highlight offered our Belgian driver Bertrand Baguette in the Indy 500 – the most legendary race worldwide in Indianapolis, USA. Starting from position 14 he passed the famous brick yard on an awesome 7th rank. Congratulations, Bertrand!

Not less spectacular and most glamorous is the annual Formula Grand Prix in Monaco. We are really happy to see Ferrari pilot Fernando Alonso on podium rank 2.

Sixth time in a row: Schuberth became Best Brand 2011

27.622 well informed and dedicated readers of the magazine “MOTORRAD” voted: Schuberth is Best Brand 2011 in category helmets. With this we won the eligible award of Europes biggest motorcycle magazine for the sixth time in a row.

Our sales director Franz-Josef Görges had the honour to receive the award within a ceremony at Signal-Iduna-Park in Dortmund. (8th from the right – he is hiding a little bit) Especially the very good result made us happy: With 64,4 % we could reach the best result ever and maximise the distance to the second follower for more than 10 % points.

We would like to thank you for the trust in us! According to the principle “better is the enemy of good” we will take this result as goal to still raise our product quality and service for you!

Schuberth is present in Dubai!

From the 16th till 18th of January we were taking part at the international security exhibition Intersec in Dubai to present a completely new design study of a fire fighter helmet. The specially for the arabic market designed helmet has been shown in different colorings and soon became a crowd puller at our exhibition stand. Characteristic about this design is that it’s made in the style of the traditional arabic headgear.

The design hasn’t only been liked by the visitors of the exhibition but also aroused the interest of the arabic broadcast station Alhurra-TV, that immideately asked our head of sales of fire fighting & industrial safety, Marcus von Bohlen, for an interview. The recording can be seen on Youtube after being broadcasted on the arabic tv (we will get back to it at a later date).

Not only fire fighter helmtes were in demand but also helmets for police, military, industrial safety and motorcycle. Therefore the visitors were variegated. In addition to decision maker from the area of fire fighting we also had a lot of motorsports enthusiasts on our stand.

Schuberth Celebrates Grand Opening of North American Office

Powersports media and VIPs along with Aliso Viejo city officials took part in Schuberth North America’s official Grand Opening.

Marcel Lejeune, Schuberth CEO, Mayor Phillip Tsunoda of Aliso Viejo, Aliso Viejo Community Association Board President Ross Chun, and Randy Northrup, General Manager, cut the ribbon officially opening the Schuberth North America business.

“We are excited to re-introduce the North American market to our award winning, German-engineered motorcycle helmets, accessories, and customer service effort through a network of exclusive dealers this November,” says Northrup.

Schuberth North America is a branch of Schuberth GmbH in Magdeburg, Germany, providing innovative, protective Motorcycle Helmets. Made in Germany.

La Gendarmerie en C3

I just came from our production line to see some unusual C3 decals coming off. Schuberth is proud to announce the delivery of C3 helmets to the Gendarmerie nationale. They have 6.000 bikes in France controlling the streets – and soon they also will drive the finest helmet in a very nice blue color:

Premiere: New Schuberth F300 at Interschutz

Today started the international fire fighters fair Interschutz 2010 in Leipzig, Germany. The leading trade fair for the fire fighter industry take place every five years and is attracting an international audience. Till 5^th of June our colleague will present our fire fighter helmets at our Schuberth stand.

The highlight of this year’s company exhibition is the world premiere of the prototype of the new fire fighter helmet F300. The helmet got a modern shape and a modular fitting system for the visor, the protective mask, the hearing protector or for the powerful helmet lamp, which can be easy handled.

We also present our new optimized helmet interior for the F220 and the traditional F130/F120. Learn more about the advantages of our new helmet by watching our new video.

By the way: Schuberth is celebrating the 50 year anniversary of fire fighter helmet construction. Here you can see a classic Schuberth fire fighter helmet from the year 1960.

Our helmets on canvas

We made a special edition of repro paintings printed on canvas for CEOs office and our meeting rooms.

As Robert put up the paintings we decided that they might look pretty stylish on other peoples wall also. So we decided to produce some more and offer them to fans and customers.

GPEC – the special helmet

Nice to see, that Lorenz Caffier, minister of the interior Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, was astonished as we handed out our special design of the Schuberth police helmet P100F to him, at the GPEC exhibition in Leipzig/Germany.

The helmet has a bullet-proof visor and is painted in the state colours of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and it contains the heraldic animals taurus and gryphon. Jens Munser, the formula-1 airbrush artist did all the great colour work here. Caffier told us, that the helmet will gain a special place at the ministry in Schwerin.
